The County Clerk's office is most likely best known for motor vehicle registration and licensing. The office presently handles over 211,000 motor vehicle transactions per year. In addition, the office now prints titles for the State of Tennessee Department of Revenue, expediting the titling process for Blount Countians.

Main Office

The main office is at the Blount County Courthouse. Most of the records of the office are stored at the courthouse.

Blount County Public Library

Drive-through service for motor vehicle renewals and processing of mail-in registrations is at the former First Tennessee Bank location at the entrance to the Blount County Public Library parking lot. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
