 Mission Statement

The Blount County Human Resource Department is a service oriented office, responsible for providing assistance to all levels of employees, county officials and the public.

The Human Resource Department provides assistance in developing, interpreting and administrating policies and procedures for personnel and human resource activities in the area of pay and practices, training and development, employee benefits, staffing and employment, affirmative action and equal employment opportunity in addition to any other related functions and activities.
