Plans Review

Notice of Called Meeting.  The Blount County Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. in Room 430 of the Blount County Courthouse to consider further revision of the Policies Plan.

The following are a set of guides for consideration by the Planning Commission in further review and revision of the Policies Plan and other plans in the county.  The overall format follows the divisions of the Policies Plan, and each module is presented as a question followed by details of existing Policies/Implementation, and then staff comment inclusive of applicable parts of other plans. The set of guides will be added to in the next few months as the Planning Commission progresses in revision of the plans. Summary presentations on the various plans and the plans themselves may be viewed by scrolling down the page.
