Blount County Black History Project - Then and Now


Blount County Black History Project -Then and Now as Told by Those Who Lived It. Charles Pride, Dorothy Kincaid, and Jo Davenport conducted and recorded interviews with black Blount County residents who helped shape the community during and after the integration of the public schools in the 1960's. Also included in the collection are photographs and other records documenting the project and black history in Blount County, Tennessee.
