Due to weather uncertainties, the Tomato Jam has been moved inside the library into the Sharon Lawson Room.  The Driftboat Cowboys will play in the Main Gallery at 11:30.

Entries for the tasting contest have closed.

We welcome all ages to this free event hosted in partnership with Blount County Master Gardeners, Blount County Friends of the Library, UT Extension of Blount County, and Blount County 4H! See if your tomato is the best tasting! Enter the contest on the library’s website by filling out a brief form, which is located at the bottom of the page. The deadline for all entry forms will be August 11th. Please bring tomatoes to the Dorothy Herron Room on Friday, August 12th by 12:00 noon. REO Cheesewagon Food truck will be here for you to purchase a cheesy snack, and we will have live music by the Driftboat Cowboys!  If you'd like to sit and listen to the Driftboat Cowboys, please bring your own chair. The tastings and activities will be under tent canopies on the Library lawn (where the FOL Market used to be set up last year).
