1. I paid my property off, when will I get my deed?: You will get a "RELEASE" when your mortgage is paid (up to 45 days). You would have received your deed when you purchased your property.

2. I need to add/remove a name on my deed, what is the process?: In order to make any changes, a new deed must be prepared and recorded. We recommend using a title attorney or title agency.

3. Are there liens or judgements on my property?: We are a recording office, we DO NOT do title searches. We have computers available to the public to do searches in office at 349 Court Street Maryville TN 37804, or you may contact a title agency to search for you.

4. Do you have a list of foreclosures?: We do not, and we are not furnished with any information regarding sales posted and or held on the courthouse steps.

5. How do I know if my property has restrictions?: Most of the time they will be referenced in your deed. You can also contact your realtor or title agency for assistance.

7. Do you have forms or prepare (assist in) documents?: We DO NOT furnish forms, or prepare documents. We are a recording office. It is recommended that you have an attorney or title agency prepare your documents.

8. Are your documents online?: Our documents aren't online. We have computers available in office at 349 Court Street Maryville TN 37804 for public use.

9. Could I get a copy of a document?

All fees must be paid in advance.

We charge .50 to email each document, or .50 per page to print a hard copy.
Certified copies that would serve as your original are $1.00 per page.
We accept check, credit/debit card, cash or money order.
